- "I had an old and worn-out 1986 JOSS cue that I had subjected to 20+ years of hard use. I bought a Predator Z shaft for it and that helped, but the cue still looked 'rough.' I took it to you, Frankie, and had you refurbish my cue and make me another shaft to replace the original which had warped.
Well, that high-dollar Predator Z-shaft stays in the bag now. You know what you're doing and your work is exceptional. The hit is outstanding, and the wood used in the new shaft is far superior to the soft maple used in the Predator. I will be back!"

- "Got the cue this morning and just spent a couple hours playing with it. I love it. I wish I would have had you turn the shaft down to 12mm, but can always do that later. It has the nicest balance of any cue I own and I have about 35 different cues. The only thing wrong with the cue is the guy playing with it...LOL. "I've hunted for a long time to get a Meucci Summer Series #12, which was only made in 1994. I purchased it on eBay and was disappointed in the
lack of attention this cue was given. I searched several cue repair shops and from my first conversation with Frankie, it was sent to him.
I gave him my complete overhaul list and Frankie didn't bat an eye. The inlays were popping, there were severe nicks in the hard finished wrap area and I wanted two shafts made with a taper from a shaft I sent along, which resembled a McDermott taper. The cue was stubborn, but Frankie didn't give up on it and I can only say I'm super happy beyond belief. The special shafts that Frankie made to match this cue are excellent; the fit and appearance match nicely. The inlays are reset and the finish is factory.
Somehow Frankie got the inner weight bolt out, as it looked like someone tried drilling oil through it at one time. Frankie bore out the butt end to drop the weight to get as close as he could to my 17.6 ounce request and flipped the weight bolt and put a slot in it so I can adjust the weight myself. I appreciate the attention this old cue received from Frankie Dooldle's Cue Repair. Thank you Sir!!!"
